VBS
Starmount holds a VBS program in July, Monday-Thursday, 9am – noon.  VBS is open to all children ages 3* – 5th grade. (*Must be potty-trained.)  The kids will break into small groups for music, games and crafts and Bible studies centered around a common theme. Look out for more information about this summer’s VBS!

Children’s Choir
Our children’s choir has a 20-minute rehearsal immediately following worship on Sundays. They practice together in preparation for a seasonal participation in worship, where they never fail to wow all in attendance with their joyous voices!

All-Church Retreat to Montreat
Every Fall, members of the Starmount Family and their friends make the trip to the Montreat Conference Center in Montreat, North Carolina. Retreat participants are encouraged to reflect on and deepen their faith while enjoying the beauty of the mountains. It is a great weekend of reflection, fellowship, and fun!

Seasonal Workshops
Children are invited for regularly scheduled events that revolve around the theme of an upcoming holiday or season. Events such as Advent Workshop, Valentine’s Workshop, and Summer Vacation Bible School allow children time to play games, do crafts and enjoy fellowship while growing closer to God in the process.

Starmount Preschool
Starmount Preschool is a ministry of Starmount Presbyterian Church that has been serving children since 1979. Our half-day programs for children 6-months through PreK prepare children for Kindergarten by teaching them social skills, educational concepts and a love of learning through play. Enrichment programs like Creature Teacher, KinderSpanish and Summer Stars weekly themed camps reach preschoolers who learn and process in different ways. Click here for more information about the preschool.
