Starmount offers various enrichment opportunities including Adult Education on Sunday mornings, Presbyterian Women's Circles, Wonderful Wednesdays, Men’s Bible study, and One Church, One Book.
Sunday School: 8:45 – 9:45 a.m.
Adults will have various options for Sunday School during the program year:
The Friendship Class (Room 321)
Bible-based curriculum and lecture format for adults of all ages.
The Adult Series Class (Room 319)
This new class for adults discusses topical issues, sometimes stretching topics over 2-3 weeks. Subjects like near death experiences, race relations or current events are examined with a Christian perspective.
OTHER EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES:
A monthly gathering in the home for dinner and a discussion of a pre-assigned faith-related topic.
Middle and High School Youth gather in Room 319 to read and discuss the bible passages for the morning’s worship service, wondering what the sermon might be about and how what they read applies to their faith.
Professional Nursery 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. for ages birth – 2 years in Room 212.
Sunday School 8:45 – 9:45 a.m.
VIP’s (Very Important Presbyterians) for ages 3 years – 2nd grade in Room 317. This enrichment class will include activities and games while parents attend their own Sunday School class.
3rd – 5th grade Sunday School The class meets in Room 317 to study bible passages through various activities using the new PC(U.S.A.) curriculum Growing in Grace and Gratitude.
Worship for Children 10:15 – 11:00 a.m.
Ages 3 – 2nd grade meet in Room 216 after the Children’s Conversation to learn familiar bible stories through activities and crafts. On the first Sunday of the month, this class does not meet so families can enjoy the Lord’s Supper together.
